How stylish are the Joules Rosalind Boots

These boots are oozing the style of a leather boot with their faux stitching detail and side zip. The asymmetric opening/topline cut adds individuality along with an interchangeable suede tassel to brighten your day or suit your mood.

There are two tassels, the first is colour matched to the boot and the second is the Joules mustard yellow colour which will perfectly match other Joules items for a co-ordinated look.

Inside, the two-tone fabric lining has a large, sketched, floral design in black on a yellow background. All in all, a really attractive design.

How Comfortable are Rosalind Boots

The boots are extremely comfortable and allow space, flexibility and support suitable for all, including those with high arches. There is also the option to buy in a wide fit though availability may be reduced for wide fit in some sizes. Designed specifically for long walks, you could easily wear them all day.

The style of the Rosalind boot is generous around the calf. This, as well as opening with an asymmetric cut and side zip, means that they are nice and easy to put on. The spacious design makes them suitable for anyone, including those with a wider calf. It also provides room for airflow around the leg, preventing overheating on a longer walk or in warmer weather.

How good is the grip \ traction

You’ll notice the look of the bottom of the boot is reminiscent of a pair of Pirellis! The out sole has been designed in the same way as a car tyre. This disperses water and squelchy mud away from the base of the boot to allow maximum contact with the ground below. It’s a clever design idea that provides the wearer with maximum grip on wet and slippery terrain.

Joules Rosalind Sole, good grip and traction

How warm are the boots

These are mid height/mid weight boots made of natural rubber, with a fabric lining. They are suitable for year-round use, though we recommend wearing some warm socks on a frosty morning.

The negatives

The biggest issue reported with the boots is the zip, which has a tendency to fall down on its own. If you find that your Rosalind boots have a zip that fall down, try spraying some hair spray on to the zip. The hair spray makes the zip very slightly sticky, preventing it from falling down.

The boots are generously sized, both around the calf and foot space. Not really a problem, but something to be aware of before purchasing.

Final Thoughts: Rosalind Boots Review

We think Joules have really hit the mark with the Rosalind boot for style, comfort and practicality. These boots are very versatile footwear, whether you are on a dog walk, the school run, out hiking or enjoying a spot of gardening. They are suitable for all day use in any weather and to top it off, you will look great at the same time! You certainlywouldn’t feel out of place stopping in a nice coffee shop or going for a country pub lunch. It seems to us that the only trouble is that you might not want to take them off!

  • Excellent all-round boots you could practically live in!
  • Very stylish – a boot that will get you compliments
  • Waterproof with the Joules 1 year guarantee
  • Excellent value for money
